Grace to you and peace from God our Father, we are grateful to have you as a guest and visitor to our site. For information regarding the church, please reference the information below. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by visiting the "Contact Us" page in the menu above.

Who We Are

The Metropolitan church of Christ is a non-denominational assembly that seeks to follow the pattern of worship established by the first century churches of the New Testament. We don't identify with any inter-congregational organization; instead, we recognize only Christ as the head of the church (Eph 5:23).

What We Do

We gather together both formally and informally to study the word of God. Our services focus on the commands and examples established in the New Testament -- prayer, singing, preaching, giving contribution and partaking in the Lord's Super. Using the Bible as our sole text, the inspired word of God (2 Ti 3:16), we conduct ourselves as closely to the commands and examples found therein.

When/Where We Gather

The church gathers every Sunday morning at 9:30am and Wednesday evening at 7:00pm at 1029 South 58th Street in West Allis, WI 53214. For directions please visit the "Contact" page above.

Why We Worship

The Lord's church was established as a part of God's plan to lead men to salvation. A necessary, but welcome part of that plan includes giving thanks, honor and praise to God. It is a time we can come together, as commanded, to partake in the rememberance of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins
